⁴ Those who run after other gods^(A) will suffer^(B) more and more.
    I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
    or take up their names^(C) on my lips.

⁷ I will take the blood from their mouths,
    the forbidden food from between their teeth.
Those who are left will belong to our God^(A)
    and become a clan in Judah,
    and Ekron will be like the Jebusites.^(B)
